Hello, Ned and Digby. This is Zatanna -- Zatanna Zatara. [It started off teasing, but then a little more serious. She isn't poking fun, but... as if there's someone else out there who shares her name!]

I was ported out, as you may very well be aware. I ran into some trouble when I threw a little fit and without a second thought, tried to teleport home... needless to say, I was and am still stranded. I didn't find my comm until now and I'm afraid I'm no good with phone numbers or I would have given you a ring before now. [She tried looking up his number, too. That lead to nowhere.]

I'm going to make a post to the network and see if anyone will pick me up.

Hello again, Ned. I'm sorry I wasn't around to lend a hand with your detective work. I hope it wasn't too scary; I've never been in that sort of situation, myself. Either way, I know that you're strong enough to handle it. You'll tell me all about it when I get back, right? Just be careful until then, especially if Cobblepot was implicated in any way. Those Gotham guys are not to be trifled with, you know?

Hello again, Ned -- and Digby, I certainly can't forget Digby. [She says it like she expects the dog to be listening in on the messages beside Ned... come to think of it? He very well may be!]

Thank you for all of the messages. It makes a gal feel appreciated, you know? Anyway, I was ported out, right? Not for too long. Just long enough to get some of my affairs in order and work things out with my family and... ah. Well, I was seeing a guy sort-of-kind-of back home, you know? It was nice seeing him. I realize that we aren't meant for long-term, but he was my rock for some time after I lost a few people who were really important to me. [She still sounds upbeat about it all, almost chipper. Sort of more like the person he first met in the City. She sounds renewed, relaxed, and comfortable. She's in her element. Maybe this is all she's needed this whole time?] I'll tell you about it sometime. Maybe over a whole pot of that soup? I could go for it right about now.

I can't wait to see you two again. Don't go disappearing on me.
